Position Overview
Blueprint Schools Network is seeking passionate and dedicated Blueprint Math Fellows to join our team for the ASU Prep Summer Program in Phoenix, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ lives by providing targeted math instruction in a small group setting. Math Fellows will work closely with teachers to deliver individualized lessons, support student collaboration, and track student progress.
Program Details
Role: Blueprint Math Fellow, Summer Program
Program Dates: June 2, 2025 – June 18, 2025
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour. Fellows are paid for time worked and must adhere to Blueprint’s guidelines for time entry.
Position Classification: Part-time, hourly, non-exempt, time-bound seasonal role. This position is not benefits-eligible or eligible to earn hours for AmeriCorps service.
Training: Up to 4 hours of training will be provided prior to the program’s start date.
Responsibilities
Deliver planned, structured lessons designed to encourage student discussion and conceptual understanding.
Provide individualized instruction to small groups of 4-8 students, using a provided curriculum.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring with classroom instruction.
Support the preparation of instructional activities and end-of-unit assessments.
Observe, monitor, and assess student performance, and record data to track progress.
Modify instruction and lesson plans based on student assessment results.
Build strong relationships with students, fostering their self-confidence and commitment to education.
Communicate regularly with Site Manager, Associate Site Manager, and Program Associate to receive coaching and feedback.
Communicate with students' families regarding academic progress, as directed.
Actively participate in professional development activities.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry.
Adhere to Blueprint Schools Network and school/district policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of student information.
Attend all scheduled work, training sessions, and meetings, arriving on time.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Age 18 or over.
Currently enrolled in an associate's degree program; or previously enrolled in an associate's degree program; or completed an associate's degree or higher.
Language proficiency: English required, Spanish preferred.
Proficiency in foundational math concepts.
Access to reliable transportation or public transportation.
Ability to learn and use Google Suite applications.
Ability to learn and utilize educational technology platforms.
Experience working with adolescents (or related fields) preferred but not required.
Experience tutoring or mentoring youth preferred but not required.
A team-player attitude with strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Demonstrated belief that all students can succeed.

Openness and ability to receive feedback.
Ability and willingness to go above and beyond to support student achievement.
Must have successfully cleared the pre-employment background screening process for Blueprint and partner schools/districts.
